seat belts are black

FYI....not sure if it's still for sale but a guy on TRS or RPS (I forget which) had almost the entire black interior from a level ii for sale.

Heres the link to mine its pretty straight foward , PM Zabeard and he can get you the link to his .
My advice this is what I learned dont take the dash out I spent over 4 hours trying to get it out , and it only took about 30 mins taping off everything as you see in the pics and I dont have over spray anywhere .

Next when you paint a trim peice let it cure inside for a week or so , so be prepaired to have missing peices out of your truck i drove for a week and a half with only the gauge cluste mounted to my dash for this reason but worth it for longetivity of the paint .

Use adhesion promoter , I only used it on the dash and now am regretting it as some paint is chipping off plastic peices , but the dash and peices I used promoter I have intentionaly tried to knock off pain and it aint hapening .

I used 1/2 can promoter 1 can primer , 2 cans of Sem vinyl spray on Dash alone if this tells you anything .

All the OD green parts in the pics I did 4 coats and used around 10 cans total of OD green wich is sprayed on all the hard plastic trim , and another 5 cans primer on plastic.

Heres a complete list of what I used compare to Zabeards and fill in as you want .
10 cans OD green for plastic
5 cans primer
1 can adhesion promoter
2 cans Sem vynil spray
1 bottle acetone
1 sleave 220 , 120 grit
3 220 grit sponges .
A bunch of rags
1 roll tape , and butchers paper to mask off

If your going all one color youll need 12-15 cans of that color and at least 6-8 cans adhesion promoter , Also you results will only be as good as the suplies you use I reocmend SEM it is what Zabeard recomended to me and I used some off brand adhesion promoter , IT will cost 200-300 dollars but is so worth it for such a custom and drastic change .

No I used it on some spots that had some dried on crap on , and the air bag and something else I cant think of . Get with Zabeard and see how many he used I know I purposely put on alot of coats for added longevity , so i used alot of paint .

The above is pretty accurate, tho you won't need primer; the adhesion promoter IS the primer in this case.

The only reason you might need primer is if you were sanding down ll of the panels to give them a different finish. you also won't need sandpaper or sanding blocks, again unless youre changing the finish.

I wanted my interior's finish to still look stock... I just wanted the color changed.
