this may sound a little funny........i own a 2001 (reg. cab).....

is the GREY/BLACK the only color combo( FACTORY STOCK) or where there other color combos...????

if not so........i can always spray paint with KRYLON.......THANKS

 

Mines a 02 and its all black

 

To the best of my knowlege, Ford only offered three colors ... medium graphite, praire tan and black.
You could only get the black interior with the FX4 package.
Back in the 90s blue and red was an option but I think 1997 was the last year for those colors.

 

there was a green color offered for the gen 3s as well.

 

i know what color you were talking about...that color was god awful

 

Don't use krylon it looks horrible. If you want it black I suggest SEM Landau Black paint

yes, sem makes a lot of different colors. they are the pretty much the best dye for the industry.

SEM Color Coat For Vinyl, Leather, & Plastics

 

Most Auto Paint Suppliers have a listing and a book of Colors for SEMs Paint.

Take the book out to your truck and see if you get a match or just to see the colors outside and in the truck.

Also, I use SEMS but it isn’t the cheapest paint ($15/can) but I think it is the best I have used for matching.

One more thing about SEMs Paint, one can to the next is as close as match as you will get in Rattle Can Paints.

I have always loved the GLOSS BLACK EXT. w/ RED INT. besides it wont be the same RED as ford put into the earlier models.................

With painting the interior, what is the closest color match to the Stock level II dash ect.?
Its not glossy is it? I thought it was more of a flat black. Is a clear coat needed to get the lvl II look?

interior plastics aren't shiny from the factory. they have a natural satin finish to them. years of armor all use and other "protectants" is what usually makes them glossy.
