Interior seats and center console
 

I just purchased a 05 ford ranger xlt and the seats are worn and center console hinge is broken I was looking at replacing these items or fixing them any recommendations.

If you have a pick and pull near you, you can look at some Explore seat and console.

any model or year in particular I need to look for

2001 and older will bolt up depending on if you have an extended cab or single cab, if single cab get a set of seat tracks from 93-97 single cab rangers with the 60/40 bench, if extended cab the existing tracks will bolt up but you may have to open up the bolt holes a bit. Explorers had two different types of consoles a shorty and a full length console.

I have leather buckets from a 2000 explorer limited and a shorty console from a 92 explorer. Had to swap tracks because single cab like mentioned above.

Are the power seat working on the ranger?

doesn’t have power seats
justa small lever on the side and one in the front

No I had to swap the tracks for them to fit, the switches are for display. if you have an extended cab you can run power and make power seats work because the tracks will bolt in maybe with some modifications.

Yeah, Been looking in my local P&P for some nice ones but FL heat is brutal on interiors.
