what's wrong with the ones you have? just looking for a freshen up?
I've seen a few threads about '04 Cavalier seats being a pretty close straight bolt in to the seat tracks. Our seats bolt to our seat tracks, no need to grind.
Any ranger our year on up that is super cab will be a direct bolt for seats & tracks. If I remember right, up to 01 Explorer/Mountaineer seats bolt right in.

hehe, my passenger seat had the handle broken off as well! I temp fixed it with a cheap-o bargain bin small vice grip.
here is the handle for 40 bucks:

If I remember right, there was only a little clip that held it on.

Expo seats need to modded to work, the seat belt is on a sliding bracket. Needs to modded to the non moving ranger style.
Almost any seat will work in your truck if you pull your tracks off the ranger seats and fab them to the new seats. This is not an easy task, they are riveted to each other. It can be done with time and a drill.
