LED strip lighting question.

Ultra Flexible Tri-Chip (BRIGHT) LED Strips - 12V LEDs - Plug and PlayWould this product work well in the instrument cluster and hvac controls?

Not sure about the ones you chose but these are the ones I used: http://www.ecolightled.com/product/r...ribbon_star_nw

They can be cut to as small as 3 LEDs or as long as the 10 strip and still work at 12 Volts.
