I am not sure that this should be in the Interior Section but it does apply to the Dash ***** so here it is.

I am looking for What I used to call “Light Pipe” but since have found out it is ROD.

I need Clear Plastic Rod, 0.125-0.145” OD.
Approximately 1 foot, that may be a problem.

I purchased on sale some Alum ***** for the Heater, A/C, 4x4 Sw and the Headlights sw but since they were on sale the indicator lens choice was not there, I got green.
I made some new indicators lenses and need only to do a little counter bore to mount them flush, then I want to add a piece of .125 Light rod to help the light transfer to the indicator lens.
Yes there will be LEDs along the way but I think the Light rod will enhance the indicator enough for it to stand out.

Anyone know where I might find a short length of light rod.

OK so no one knows about Light Rods and fiber-optics.

I picked up some Plastic rods in red, inserted them in the back of the HVAC ***** to transfer more light to the indicator.
Appears at first attempt to work OK, the indicators are a little brighter.

Now for the red LEDS.
