neon lights?
 

i was in my local kragen the other day just browsing the shelfs when i noticed a few 18" neon light that plug into a 12v power source, so i got to thinking and my question is how hard would it be to install two of these lights under the dash and hard-wire it into my 12v power source? will they both run of 1 source without much power loss? and stay bright?

It would be easy. I have 8 in my cab presently. 18inch ones will NOT fit under the dash, your need to use 10 inch on each side. 18's WILL fit under seats and the space in the back panel.

i put a 12" neon under each side of the dash... spliced the wires together, used the switched power from the radio to a switch. Ground and you're done. i believe there was a write up somewhere on here or RPS about this.
