Removing center 60/40 seat belts?
I can't figure out how to get that torx drive plastic cover off for anything. I even tried to pry it off and break it in attempt to get it off. I just installed leather explorer seats and need to remove those center belts. I know someone on here knows how to remove these. I would appreciate the help. Also pictures will follow soon even though I don't have a center console yet.
Thanks,
Jason

are you talking about the seat belt pretensioners on the driver side seat? or the center seat belts that bolt to the floor of the cab? If its the center seat belt things, all you do is pry the cover off...atleast in my truck. Once you pry it off you should have access to the torx bolt...that is if i understand what your talking about haha.
I also just thought of this, are you talking about the female receiving end that is in the drivers side seat, its the end that takes the male connector which is bolted to the floor. If this is it, all you do is just pull on it till it comes through the hole in the 60/40 seat. Prolly would help to take the drivers side pretensioner out first though

yea it is the belts that bolt to the floor for the 3rd seat where the center console is. I will try tomorrow at work where all my tools are. It is hard to work with limited tools. I will try to pry the cover off. I thought that with the torx drive it would unscrew of there were slots it would line up with and pull out.
Thanks,
Jason

pry... i mean PRY the livin' hell out of the plastic covers with a flat screwdriver. Break 'em. Then it's like a T40 torx bit to unbolt the belts from the floor. I just recently did it.
The top cover is supposed to turn into a slot to be able to remove them...but i could never line them up...i said screw it and broke all the plastic crap.
