Icon4 Problem with 60/40 seat back

Have a '99 with a 60/40 seat, when you lift the switch, the back instead of coming forward, falls back. You have to adjust the seat back from outside the truck. Is there a spring come loose or something i have missed... PLEASE HELP.....

Was it like this when you got the truck, or did it just start happening?

I disassembled my seats a few weeks ago, but I can't really remember what they looked like inside and what was connected to what. It sounds like you have a broken spring, or a spring that's come loose, though.
