New ranger first!

Until the weekend, I'm the only one with this mod I'm pretty sure...

Can anyone guess it?

What do you think?

The threads on the ball are M12x1.75 and the threads on the Hurst are 3/8NC16...

So what I had to do was get a m12x1.75x25mm and make a center mark on the head of the bolt. Drilled a 5/16in hole about 1in down on the bolt and tapped it to 3/8NC16 to adapt to the hurst. Worked out real nice... That's a TrePaul Kustomz factory to hurst adapter! haha ENJOY!

I just checked mudranger's CD and he has a hurst with a FX4 ball in a few of his pics. Don't know if that's still current or not though.

Marcus, I still have all the ones I made. Gives me something to change up the interior. lol

And yes, that's a hurst with a FX4 ball. I'll take a picture of the adapter I'm talking about that I made tomorrow.

Thanks man! I think they do too! I just had to do something productive with the $107 FX4 ball sitting in my room. Time to make it work. Took me about 15 mins to make it once I and Shane figured out how it was going to work.

Made the adapter in the drill press and vise with hand taps and center punches. That's how I roll!

They're from US Speedo. My buddy was sent 2 for his 99 PSD and asked if I wanted it so I said yeah sure. Turns out it looks pretty cool. The white is just a piece of like wax like paper behind it. Blue LED lights shine through it. Looks cool at night. If you want pics I can take some night ones.

You peel the black stock overlay off and lay the new one down with double sided stick tape. So it's just the overlay. I'll take one either in a lil bit, or tomorrow. Depends on how tired I am here in the next few minutes. lol
