Seats,,

Im interested in getting new seats like these:

But how would I make it work with my current Seatbelts? and any seat recommendations?

I want more headroom, so I hope by getting thinner seats Ill sit lower and thus wont be 3" from the roof

screw the factory belts
those babies look ready for 5 point
if the seat back supports that system you can bolt right to the floor pan supports

Just permanenty complete the circuit....

I've been thinking about getting seats like these for the same reason. It's wild getting out of my rig going into the ranger. I feel uber cramped. The five point harness would be cool too =]

leave the one side tucked under the seat
or ask the electronic gurus on this sit what resistor you can use to fool the system and eliminate it
I would not let that stop me from getting 5 point belts if installing those seats

really though what are the chances you are actually going to do this?
if the only reason is to pick up head room in the cab I don't think that will inspire you enough to get it done
when is the turbo going on that 4 cylinder - that would be a project!!!

How would you install aftermarket seats? I mean do you take off the stock bracketing and put them on the new seats or what?

9times out of 10 you have to have custom brackets fabbed up. You can pick and choose sometimes, but seeing as the majority of people buying these seats drive rice, Ford Ranger is not common enough to have mass produced bracketry.

more than likely the Ford bracketry would not align with the mounts in the seat. Fear not , any half decent metal worker can fab them himself, they are also pretty cheap to get made at a shop somewhere

With graduation coming up and all the money Ill get for that, It should happen, though I need new ball joints installed first, but the seats would help alot to stop my sliding around on the bench seat, and even if I cant find a bolt on kit, I do have a friend who is a damn good welder.
Plus they'll look badasss with my carbon fiber dash kit

I did some quick measuring and those seats would fit well in a ranger...they are only about 2 inches taller than my seats...and same dimensions for everything else

I wonder if that "NETAMI" logo can come off.

That ebay link you posted was decent! Not the biggest fan of leather but they're sweet. Shipping is pretty killer on those bad boys. If not for that, they'd be a good deal.

Let me know if you get em, they'd be nice to put in my truck. I'm just not sure about the seat brackets.
