hey guys..i wanted to put in a OHC in my 04 ranger...how hard are they to install? is it plug and play? or what do i need to do for this mod thanks dudes!

Many people have done it, its easy as long as you follow Griggs guide. I'm actually going to be doing mine this weekend. The only biggie is that you have to cut your headliner.

Yeah next time try searching, 9 times out of 10 someone else has had the some question. But dont worry about asking questions if you cant find it tho, the people around here are super helpful.

I'm not good with wiring and I put the OHC and auto-dim mirror in my truck. If I can do it anyone can.

Its really not that hard. Just prep for the job and read the instructions over and over and over. Its totally worth it.

2004+ owners:

Be sure to check the addendum at the end of John's How-to (page 4). The procedure remains basically the same but there have been changes to some of the 2004+ Ranger color codes and wire locations.

the wiring isnt that hard at all. take your time and follow the instructions and you will be golden. have a friend help you if needed

got it done d00ds ill takes sum pix : ) PAIN IN THE ASS! my wires were totally different colors but we got it figured out...but SOOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT!

glad to hear you got it all figured out...after 5 years I finally got around to it and put one in my truck last weekend. Easier than I thought it would be eventhough i had some wiring discrepancies. I just wish i had done this mod sooner.
