OHC - Another Install Question

I am ready to install the OHC and when I put it up to the roof I find that it does not conform to the roof line/headliner.

I believe the headliner will conform once the screws are installed but was just wondering if others have run across this.

My worry is if the plastic mounting screw positions in the Console will hold up when the housing is screwed in ?

It will be fine once you tighten down the 2 screws. You could always get longer screws and use big fender washers to spread the load across the OHC. I just used regular screws and its been fine.

i know in my truck the headliner is a little different than the older rangers. But the housing will hold up to the screws no problem.

the headliner goes between the mounting bracket and the ohc. it will pull it together.
