OHC Install

I got my OHC installed last weekend. It wasn't too hard, just time consuming. It was nerve racking when i was drilling into the roof, i had to check outside about every minute to see that i was not destroying the roof. Other than my worries the mod went exceptionally well, except the console(from 99 ex.) will not dim. I did some looking around and some people, including Bob were having the same issue. Has anyone put LEDS, or any other bulbs into the map light area? Mine do not seem very bright, i need to check, its possible the outside of the bulbs may be black, or dirty.
Now, since my OHC wiring harness came with all the wiring for the auto dim mirror that is the next mod i want to do. I was wondering if anyone had one of these mirrors from around a 99 or so, and if so let me know a price. Does the mirror go right on the ranger mirror mount on the windshield ok? I will be working on the auto lamp relay wiring and probobly do all the wiring ahead of time so when i get the mirror all i have to do is plug it in and go.

Here is the only pic i got before my batteries in my camera died.

Thanks to John and all the contributors for the very good how to on the OHC and the mirror.

I was going to try without them, and the first hole i drilled i broke through a thin layer of metal, and i stoped drilling and just pushed the bit up and i hit the actual roof. I just made sure at the end of drilling the hole i wasn't going wide open with the drill, and pushing hard. That would have been bad news.

Robert, you did good! Now it is time to install an EATC.
By the way, you can get rid of those ugly signs on your visors by swapping sides.

Ya, when i can get some more money and time i would love to do the EATC mod. There is alot of work to that one, and i still have to get the mirror done.
