Gettting ready to do this mod and wanted to know if it was neccsarry to run constant power to the light if you have two wires up in your dome light. All the write ups i saw show one wire were the dome light hooks in mine has two and i was wondering if you needed constant power or it was already there? I have a 2000 ranger

 

You've already got constant power going up there.....it's the 04+ trucks that don't have constant power...

 

Cool so i just have to hook it up and i should be good to go awsome

Yup, its a very straight forward swap and well worth the $10 it costs at a JY haha. I love having map lights in my truck!
