I don't know why Ford didn't offer Cruze with a Manual Tranny, its all stocked parts and didnt require ANY cutting/drilling.. even the green ' speed control ' indicator in the gauges works!

it kicks off when you press on the clutch/brake/off button. Any car has a certain limit on when they can use cruise, i think our trucks are set to 30mph?

i know how to turn it off, buit with the manual, if you hit a hill and forget to turn it off what happens? youd think that it would stall becuase it cant downshift...

It pretty much just floors itself, thats how ur auto knows to kick down, just by how much throttle it gives itself.. just watch your gas pedal move while youre driving up and down hills. Oh and if you get within like 10 miles or so below/above your preset cruise speed it shuts off.

Factory speed control is available with a manual transmission as an option on most Ranger trim levels. My manual truck has it. In fact, speed control is standard on every Level II, manual or automatic.

Unless the parts are from a much earlier Ranger than your 03, the switch pods should be illuminated already. The factory bulbs burn out easily though and the LED mod is a good fix when that happens. Or if you don't like the stock green illumination.
