Hey guys. I put my OHC in about a month ago and just put in my Explorer dome light. I am thinking about painting the grey parts black. What do you guys think?

Also is there anyway I can get my OHC display brighter? Its on night mode and its hard to see some times.







Also I took out one of my jump seats and did this.

i like the fire extinguisher, really nice

as far as the plastic pieces, paint them the same black. i think a mustang dome light would look better in your truck

 

I never really thought about the mustang dome light. Whats the main difference?

You should be able to get the OHC and dome light for under $100...well under and yes you just take off the old dome light and put the new one in the exact place. Its just three screws and you done.

usually night mode means its not as bright, like my radar detector dims down for night. turn the "night mode" off and u should be good.

 

Right. Mine seems to be stuck on night mode and it is hard to see. I was wondering if there is a way to change that since I dont have it hooked up to my light switch.

 

25 shipped for the domes. They have them in grey, blueish, and tan.

and for the night mode... do you have your dimmer wire hooked up correctly?
