I tried what you did looking for a FX4 with black interior and quickly gave up when they wanted ALOT of $$$$ for simple parts.

STL,
i agree and disagree. too much yellow WOULD be bad, but... i dont believe it should be 50/50, i think with yellow you need a little less just because of how much it sticks out. id say mostly black with yellow accents.
Tyler,
glad to see someone else rockin the yellow. seriously tho keep me updated it you paint anything else. i will let you be the test dummy =]

Phil if you dont ever plan on changing the seats then gray would be best for you with yellow.
I had to do something the new black and red seats made the gray look bad. All the colors were annoying me I needed just two colors.
Cody my camera sucks ***** i could never get a descent shot if there isn't enough light.

Just do one, its not that hard. You need a second vehicle for a few weeks.
Take things apart one step at a time, be careful, use common sense.
This spring I'll be doing alot more painting - I have a huge can of sonic blue, if you want me to paint parts for you I can.

I got this can free. (yeah I got a hookup)
I do the engine work, another shop helps with fabrication/bodywork, So I can usually get a deal on paint supplies.
A couple of weeks before I got that I did spend 143$ on paint supplies.
1/2 pint of vinyl match paint (sonic blue)
1 pint of sonic blue
1 quart of clear
Clear activator
Color activator
plastic adhesion promoter
plastic primer
mixing sticks and ect....

sorry, not trying to rape the OP's thread, just responding to someone asking for the pic...
We should come up with a list together of all the reasonably paintable parts for the interior.
Like I said, I plan to do the door handles, inner and outer, liftgate handle, mirrors (out and in).

I've had it for a few months now, and its still cool but I always notice the little things that I need to do still, instead of the things I have done.
For example this interior paint bit, also the under-door handle LED job, and underbody LED's I'll be adding. I have the parts, its just too cold.
In spring I'll be driving my car again so the truck can come off the road for modding season.
I've been making clusters for civics, and a few other cars for spare cash to pay for my new wesico pistons.
