lol i didnt wet sand mine at all or clear it. hell the only thing i sanded was the center cluster

 

I like the creativity.

My radio bezel is silver (stock), so to tie something else to it I am considering doing the handle surrounds a matching silver color (painted red here):



Are these easy to remove?

yea theres 6 7 mm screws you have to remove. 2 are under the cd player (obviously)
and the other 4 are in the door panels behind the handle. theres 2 screws that come out and then you have to use a screw driver to pop the panel off because its held in place by 5 or so clips

 

 

I definitely think it would look good with everything painted white, it would look killer, is that what your doing from the looks of that pic above I would say yes.

blue was to be the trim and white was gonna be the main color. all the vents (minus the bezel). rocker panel, door handles, seat belt caps and cup holder inserts are still blue

Every time I see a "Painted Interior" thread, I think of riced out Civics and the wild slap-in-the-face paint scheme used on the same interior pieces as the next guy. At least you went with white and not yellow or bright red....LOL
