What kind of paint did you use? Krylon Fusion works wonders

did you wet sand or dry sand, did you use a primer/adhesion promotoer, how many coats how long did you let it cure etc, all plays into the final look

The bezels are covered with a rubbery surface. On mine, I sanded all of the rubber off, down to the plastic and then painted it.

okay i sanded tell i got a rough look to it so the paint can stick. I did not use any primer on it at all. As far as coats, i just sprayed it tell it all looked covered and good to my eyes. i think i did two coats though.

i dry sanded it. when i was finishged it did not look too good so i repeated the process and same thing happend. So my friend went and wet sanded it in spots and did not finish so it's installed wih red paint and black sports where he wet sanded it down to the black again.

So i bought a new one from someone on the site. im taking off the one i have now putting the new one on when i get it and then working on the messed up one to see what i can do. if all else fails i will try with the new one im getting. im not giving up though! As far as paint it was a mix done at a paint shop they mixed it to match the truck. it starts with a P though and ends with a G. only three letters i know that.
