Removing Interior Door Panel 2008

Anyone know how the interior door panels on a 2008 come off? There is one screw at the bottom at the edge on the striker side. Are there pop out clips or are there buttons you need to slide the panel up to release.

Thanks

George

There is one on the bottom, as well as two holding the black door handle bezel on, after removing those it pops off, revealing one more under there. Then just lift up and pull away the panel.

There are no other screws other than the one at lower outer corner. None by the door handle or the power window buttons. The 2008 must be different than the earlier models.

Thanks for you help though

Your profile says "2008 Ranger XLT" so that is why I am assuming you have the XLT door panels (the ones with a map pocket at the bottom). Also, you have power accessories, so you should have the better door panels.

this door handle bezel is from a non-powered XLT door panel, virtually the same as a power optioned door panel, Note the screw locations behind the grab handle:

Thanks for your help bwester04. I found the screws. I don't know why I didn't look in the grab cup before.

Do you know how you remove the exterior mirror glass without breaking it? I want access to the inside of the mirror housing so I can drill some holes and pass wiring for mirror signals.

Thanks

Not sure on an '08.. but on an '02-05, there are areas where you would stick a flathead screwdriver and gently pry up/twist motion and the glass 'pops' off. You could check and see if there is something similar on your '08, just play around with the position of the mirror and look around the base where the glass mounts.

If you haven't figured out how to get the mirror off yet, click below.

Those would be good instructions if the text wasn't on top of the photos. You can't read hardly any of it.
