no prob... might i suggest using some coarse thread sheetmetal screws instead of the push pins they give you... hold better and smaller holes...

Attachment 209940
the screws dont stick out to much either...

thanks... and if i get another tach and engine temp gauge... can i splice the wires off the back of my instrument cluster?

i wanna get gauges that I can just easily wire up and not run stuff into the engine

that is what i got....getting ready to order another one.....

water temp you just replace the stock sending unit with the one that comes with the gauge and run wire...

Attachment 209939
that brown plug and sender is what you replace...then just rung a ring terminal around the new sender and run it to the gauge

would a 2" gauge be ok to put in the 2 1/16" hole?

also, wat are your thoughts on a digital tach? would it be hard to wire using the stock wires?

lifted97ranger 02-12-2007 06:29 PM

yea the extra 1/16" is to hold the gauge in....if not it would come out....

I think it would look better with black fasteners. Check your local Ace Hardware store for some. Black Philips head would be the cat's @#$.
