What years/ and model does the silver or carbon fiber bezel come out of?

 

i just looked on autotrader it looks like 05-09's all models had the carbonfibers not sure on the silver

OP can only run up to 06 bezels....so....

Silver radio bezels began in '03 XLT's and it's still true to 2010's. XL's and Edges and Sports all had black. Explorer Sports and Sport Tracs had them too. I think the year range is 01-05.

Mazda's...I honeslty don't know when they started doing it. I remember going to the Portland auto show in 02 or 03 and saw a maz with the carbon fiber bezel.

MAzda also has a dark grey colored radio bezel and other silver interior trim. This pictured is an '03.

 

I was wondering if the Mazda gray bezel was the same color but apparently its is darker. There is a dark gray Mazda bezel on ebay that would be perfect for us LII setup guys but I think the gray is just a tad too dark for what I'm wanting.

Also worth noting, Maz interiors are light gray(at least the 03 I pictured) and the trim inside is dark grey. I wonder if it's the same color as the ranger dark grey....

 

i never put much though into the color of my dash and other interior parts i think mine is darker then the one pictured above my seats look different than the rangers (fabric wise)

I went to the salvage yards looking for a silver LII style bezel (2wd with fog lights) and didn't have any luck. I found a few black ones that were scratched up and then I found a very nice Mazda carbon fiber one. Its in my truck now but I'd be willing to trade for a nice silver one of the same style (2wd with fog lights.) I also could go back and grab the matching carbon fiber arm rest out of it too. :)

 

You've got an 04+. I think 04 is when Maz finally went with dark grey interiors. Also note all the other 04+ specific parts...like clusters, seats, pass air bag, steering wheel, etc. The seat pattern and inserts are maz specific too.

BUT...your pics did teach me something.... Some 04+ mazdas have black face gauges with silver trim ring. While others have white face gauges with silver trim rings. Good to know.

I'll grab some pics of the radio bezel but the door bezels will take a week or so. The only part that was Carbon fiber on those were the parts around the door handle. The part I do love about CF bezel is the finish is actually a durable one unlike the silver and black ones.

 

i agree it is very durable mine looks as good today as it did when i bought the thing 2 years ago the only thing i dont like about it is the fact that there is nothing else to tie it together with the rest of the interior pieces everyone that sees mine asummes its aftermarket
