How do I wire mine up, I bought them off a fellow member but I lost the instructions he gave me. I need to know what each wire goes to?

Ok let me see if I can remember. The green and blue go to the actuators. The pink and orange are 12v constant, the blacks are grounds, the Gray and gray/black are for the horn or parking lights. I'll see if I can remember the rest.

DaGGer Jun 2, 2008 01:59 PM

yeah blue and green are the actuators. Now the 12V constant that just goes to the battery correct? I don't know much about wiring stuff as I've never done it but I can run the wires and such. Aso for the horn and parking lights how do I wire them in?

04blackedge Jun 2, 2008 02:26 PM

For the horn and parking lights you just find the power wires for both of those and tap into them. The power wires go to the battery or any constant 12v, I had mine at the power distribution block.

ok sounds good. I know it has the ability to open a trunk but I don't have one so I don't have t o worry about it lol

Also do I want to put power windows it. I was thinking of taking a trip to the junk yard and grabbing the factory stuff. how hard would it be to wire all this up together. I figure it would be easier but I'm no expert.

04blackedge Jun 2, 2008 04:24 PM

That module has nothing to do with power windows, you would need a completely different kit.

DaGGer Jun 2, 2008 04:30 PM

for what? power windows? yeah I understand that. I'm just saying it would be easier to do both at the same time as I'm already tearing everything apart.

04blackedge Jun 2, 2008 04:33 PM

Ohhh yeah it would. A1 Electric makes a super nice kit. I have the power door bezels with all the switches and everything if you want them.

DaGGer Jun 2, 2008 09:49 PM

ok, say I got the stock switches and panel for the door would I be able to use those factory switches with the power windows? Thats really the main reason I want the factory stuff? I'll pm you.
