New IDEA??? Centerconsole Mod

Well i have been deciding weither to cut the hell outta my center console or not...so after a few beers i went ahead and cut the darn thing lol..good thing i have a spare console =D anyway..i found a custom MTX sub encloser with a MTX sub in back of a exploder today and took it home..cost me 11bucks for the speaker and $9 encloser..the encloser fits behind my seat already so if i mess it up i guess it will go behind my seat.Anyway here is what it looks like

Im going to be building a encloser inside of the center console to give it more bass and so it can be sealed....THIS IS MOCK UP!!!

good idea. a sub in the console is a stock option in Wrangler TJs. it's just a 6.5" but it is a good idea for a stealth install.

there is also a 6.5" sub in the Level II's center console......it is nice...i can't wait to get my sub in my Level II console hooked up.....it is a 200 watt max dual voice coil sub too.....

that isn't a bad idea, but your seat will rub against it....that might cause some scaring on your sub....

That's a bad *** setup man!

I have that exact same console in my truck, would a small sub fit on the back of the console (removing the rear cup holders)? That would also be a sthealth setup, it would be a small sub tho, no so much of a big sound but it'll help on something.

just flush mount the sub in an enclosure (you need one) that fits inside the console, and then just put a plastic grille over that and it will be protected just fine.

I wonder if there would be a somewhat easy what to do this on my factory console? I would just like to put a 6.5 in or something, just to give me a little extra bass. I need my rear cab for the dog, so there is no extra room....
