Better seats into 02 B2300?
Just picked up a 2002 Mazda B2300.
The truck has the "fleet" style vinyl 60/40 bench seat. Doesn't even have an armrest/console in it.
I'm looking to upgrade the interior with some better bucket seats.
Are most Ford vehicles from the same period interchangeable? (i.e. Rangers of course, Mustangs, Explorers, etc)
I'm going to a junkyard/U-Pull it soon would like to know what will fit and what won't.
Thanks for any help, I look forward to taking in a lot of information from here and will dig around to see if I can find my own answer.

I did some searching and reading, but couldn't find a clear answer. You say if it was an extended, Explorer seats would work, but since it's standard, they won't. Does this mean I can fit Ranger Extended cab seats in? If not, are they on different tracks or something?

no. ext cab seats will not fit in a reg cab without heavy mods. your best bet is to find a pair of 93-97 reg cab tracks. they will still require some mods to make them work, but it's not too bad. then you can bolt mustang, explorer, etc to them.

if you do what the link above shows, then this list of seats will work.

The Driver’s Side of the 60/40 Seat can be taken apart and the Driver’s Side Track can be attached to another seat.
or
The Passenger side Bucket can be mounted to the Driver’s side, all of the controls swap over to the other side of the seat so no problem.
Go to the JY, find another 60/40 seat set up with the same color/pattern as you already have.
Buy just the Passenger’s Side 40% Seat (same as a std bucket), same year range, the driver’s Tracks will bolt up without a problem.
When disassembling the seats, take the back off first and put it on last.
Biggest problem with the 60/40 disassembly is the Center Console Mounting, take your time.
It works I used the Driver’s Side Track from my original Std Cab 60/40 Seats on my Lvl II Buckets, which originally came from an Ext Cab.
Again, controls switch over, both seat pans have the same holes on both sides.
