Icon3 Ps2 install.

I recently bought a new HU with a screen and then bought the slim ps2 to put in so I can play some guitar hero. I need some help finding a place to put the Ps2. Iv tried the gllove compartment and it wont fit with the wires connected in the back but it will without them so I could cut itno it but I dont want to. Iv got the inverter and rca cables all hooked up so ideas and pics on were to mount the ps2 would be great!

It doesnt need much room to open to slid a disk in and are you talking about the console on the floor?

center console...it may be too small though. You have extended cab right? If so then what about like a custom enclosure in the back?

I would install Cabinet drawer style sliders on the side then mount it under the passenger seat.

I've got a spare glovebox I'll sell ya. You can cut that one up, and if you ever take it out you can put your old one back in. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

You cant put it under the seat because the new PS2 opens like a Portable CD player and access would be limited.

I think it'd be way too wide to fit down there. You'd have a hard time getting the lid open too I'd think.

I have that cubby thing across from my cupholders and I mounted it on top of it. It slid in perfectly below the airbag turn key thing and I used velcro to hold in place so I can move it if I want to. I aso redid the wirirng and mounted the big inverter below my seat accross from it. It look clean accpet for 2 wires running out of my side step panel things to my seat. Ill get some pics for you guys when I get the chance.

Yes my windows are tintied but you can still see it, Im just not gonna tell to many ppl what Iv got in there.
