Question about power windows...

Ok so I've searched and found almost everything I need. I am going to buy the A-1 Electric motor/regulator assembly and use the factory power window switchs etc... What I couldn't find out for sure is if on the XLT's, can I just buy the little black peice that holds the switches, or do I have to have the whole door panel? I can always put a tweeter in the window crank hole, so thats not a problem. Anyone know this?

You just need the black piece with the switches.

Just an update... I have no more questions on this topic. I will begin the conversion when I get the parts, I might even try to put together a write up. I know this is a huge topic, as there are alot of Ranger owners who bought a truck with no power accessories and they're tired of cranking them windows!

I'm doing the same thing. If you have the "nice" door panels (the ones with the pockets and the carpet-material on them), you should be able to just get a new set of black "inserts" as I call 'em.

Edit: oops. Left the window open without hitting submit. Then came back and hit submit. Heh.
