Radio Bezel Question
Hey today i painted my radio bezel white but it didn't turn out to good so tomorrow im going to sand it down and redo it. The question is how fine of sand paper should i use to sand it down?
Thanks |
did you prime it?

Did you take the old rubber crap off of it before you painted it? Anyway.....I peeled off the rubber the best i could, then used 200grit to get rid of the rest. I followed that up with either 400 or 500grit on the entire bezel. I primed using Rust-oleum Auto grey primer, sanded that with i think 750 or so, then a light coat of prime, then on goes to color. I used John Deere Blitz Black....very close to stock color, just a little more shine....i guess it's considered Satin Black. That's how I did it.
