Icon2 Overhead Console wire.. Can't figure this one out

I have all my wires labeled except for one.

It's a thicker wire that is a lightish blue with black stripe... I looked at every how to and can't seem to find anyone that has this wire?

Not sure if I want to just cut it or leave it alone... I'd hate to wire everything up and realize that I need it somehow.

It's AS thick as a normal black grounding wire that comes with the overhead console.

Anyone ever run into this wire?

I have the overhead console, and auto dimming mirror. Full harness that incldues the plugs for the visor mirrors as well but I don't have those. Just ohc and mirror is what I plan on installing.

Thanks,
-Nigel

Welp with more explorering I decided to cut the tape off the harness carefully...

What I found this wire was inside the harness that the end was taped up but connected to nothing.

Also I had abut 4 grounding wires off of one that the same deal 2 of them just had taped up ends but nothing connected...

I just removed them since they weren't in the harness plug or anything like that...

Anyone ever see this before?

Thanks,
-Nigel

I have a black wire with blue stripe.

This wire is blue with a black stripe.

I will take pictures of what I have.

That's how it was taped inside the harness... MYstery wire not connected into plug at all..

Why do I have so many grounds but only two of they are going to the mirror and console?

Again taped up inside of factory harness.

Ground again:

Here's the wire you were talking about.

Different than the first one posted.

All the heatshrink i just did becuase I took the tape off so I wanted to cover it again.

Thanks,
-Nigel

Welp I guess those weren't needed. Only the two ground and the other wire didn't matter. so I just cut the 3 other grounds off and removed that gray wire. Tested everything out and it turns on and displays temp and direction.

I'm going to make the harness shorter becuase it's just too much wire in places..lol But other than thatI can't wait to put everything together... has to wait till saturday... too dark now.

Thanks!

-Nigel
