ebay, junkyard and on here are your best options... a dealer will charge way to much.
i might be selling mine in a little bit. The map lights dont work but everything else works perfect, let me know if youre interestedohc002-1.jpg?t=1199317518

The wiring is simple. There are 2 wires that go to your existing dome light, 1 is a ground, 1 is a power supply, and 2 go to the temp sensor outside. The only hard part is cutting into your head liner and making sure you are doing it right.
You can expect to find a good unit from $40-$75 which include all the parts... bracket, wiring harness, console, and temp guage. Dont pay anymore then that.
Honeslty it might be the best mod I have done to the interior. If you think you can do it... do it.

When I cut my head liner I put the OHC where I planned on mounting it and pushed it pretty hard into the liner. It makes a few marks on the liner to give you your bearings on were to and not to cut. When you start to cut just use really sharp tools and start small.
I am gonna repaint mine all black soon. 04blackedge I really like how yours looks... bad azz.

There's logic that inhibits temperature updates except when you're moving to keep engine heat from influencing the sensor so much.
