Looks good man. I have one in my truck with the longer arm. I found that the arm is comes with to be a little short or personally out of position for my taste. But 100 bucks, Steal.

If I actually had the money and wasn't a student I would have a Super Duty. Being an engineer the truck would be total modified. Its a disease.

Cummins are nice I am just not a fan of Dodges. I'd eventually put a Caterpillar in my Super Duty,

yea as long as its a 7.3 then your fine the 6.0's suck and the 6.4's get like 11 mpg's atleast one that i drove once i like the dodges and that 12 valve cummins is music to my ears especially straight piped. i was hoping to buy one soon but a work accident kind of stopped me from doing that so now im gonna have my ranger longer than expected so i thought i'll buy this since 100 bucks and i need new rear shocks and i kind of wanna do the 07 mirrors but we will see

7.3L yes. My dad has one in his F550 that he hauls 12 tons of float, backhoe, fuel and buckets with ahah. But I actually meant and inline 6 C7 Caterpillar or something. Actually Cat engine. There are companies who build these engines for pull trucks and what not. People have put little Cummins 4BT's in Rangers but I'd love to see a little Cat engine. Someone else put one in his older F350.

Good Find, is it in yet ?

I added the longer handle that also mored the ball position back more.
I am 6/2” and have the seat all the way back so the longer/higher shifter was needed.
I also added an adapter plate that moved the handle another inch higher and an inch back, now it is nice.
The feel of the Hurst is nice, click/click, next gear.

Sorry I am not closer, I would install it for you, easy install, most of the time.

When you do it, get some foam and a small amount of sound deadening material.
After you get the shifter in and it is working and adjusted for no slop in the shifter, put some sound deadening material around the opening and over the trans hump as much as possible.
The put some foam rubber flat around the opening and up the stick some and as I did added some more sound material around the outside of the foam; keep it all under the boot area.
The extra gear noise can be cut down some with insulation.

No pics of the insulation install, not sure where they are, I will keep looking.

After all the insulation was in place and the new long and more bent back Stick.

This is the adapter I made to move the stick further back and up, one inch each way.

My cup holes have been replaced by FX4 LvL II Bezel and Boots, rubber floor has been replaced by Rug and the 60/40 is replaced by Buckets.
Dash rework coming, radio, cluster, new lights, radio bezel and lights added to the *****; the list always gets longer never ending.

Oh Ya the noise, yes a radio helps but the gear/vibration noises is more than I expected, then came the insulation on the shifter, ended up doing the complete cab with sound deadening material.

Good Luck on the broken leg.
Put out a call, maybe a Ranger Guy in the Washington State area will come b and have the truck back together long before you mend.

A lot of Rangers in the JY have the Shifter Bezel type of cup holders and you can locate some of the 60/40 Seat Cup Holders so there are a couple of choices.

Good Luck and consider the insulation…

ltr / Luck
