Regular cab with full length explorer console

I got a 06 Regular cab with a 10" kicker bass station

This weekend i want to go to a junk yard to look for a center console and and ohc etc, I'm just wondering if a full length explorer console will fit wiht my sub

Any pics of people having the console in a reg cab with or without subs would be appreciated

For example this is what the sub is like in my truck

I believe it should fit, if you get it and its too long, you could always take the back a/c vent section off

Since you have a regular cab, you won't even notice that the rear A/C section is gone if you have to pull it off.

Bump, still looking for more pics

Also thinking about-
-Painting the whole cab black, seen a few pics and it looks great imo
-Using sound deading material through out the whole cab, so to the people who have done this in a reg cab, how much did you use? and is the difference in noise huge? Like less tire hum etc?

Difference is definitely noticeable. I highly recommend it. I'm not sure how much a reg. cab would use though.

Just FYI, installing sound deadener is a lot more labor intensive than it looks if you're going to do it right. It's going to take some time.

I used MurderMat. No complaints so far.

Yea that's why I want to take time off work so I'm not rushed. I want to do the entire cab and if i have extra double up on the doors etc

Has anyone made power mountaineer seats work in a regular cab? Found a pair in mint shape but unsure if they'll fit

Reg. Cab explorer console

I just did the swap my self, I had a same style sub box as you. You should buy a bit smaller one that dosnt wedge out at the bottom, one with the same size width will work the best for clearance issues. Also the new box I got will actually slide under the little "roll" or watever under the rear window I cut the card board back peice to make the box slide fully back against the rear wall of that makes sense.
