mirror mounting turn signal mod

this took me about 6 hours but i made all the wiring SOOO clean.

i havent wired it into the signal yet, because i dont no which wire to tap into.
I might just tap the lights into my parking lights so they stay on with the lights, but i dont no. Is there anything wrong with doing that? a law or something?

anyways here are the pix.
sry there a little blury my auto focus wasnt working right.

WALLY WORLD.

there like $8 a light
plus you need 18 gauge wire, some shrink wrap and some connectors to tap into your turn signal light

....i should have made a "how to"

I believe those are the wires that power the dog mod.

All my wires are covered up, but i can explain what you need to do.

Here is my "how to" to wire them into the moirrors.

what to do:

first start at the mirror.
you need to take the door pannel off and remove the mirror from the door.
drill a hole into the bottom of the mirror for the wires to go through. (the smaller the better for water purposes)
pull the wires up and out of the mirror between the mirror lens and the plactic.
connect a wire to each of the wires off the light.
run the wires through the same boot that the other stock wire runs through.
put screws into the lights to hold them to the mirror.
put mirror back on door.
find a ground and ground the white wire.
run the yellow wire down through the door pannel and through the boot that goes into the car.
punch a SMALL hole in the side of the boot and run wire through the front fender using a long stick and tape.
take headlights and side lights out completely.
find the wire in the fender and pull it out through the front.
*this is when the cutting of wires begin*

you need to cut the ground wire on the side/ parking light. the ground is BLACK.
connect the YELLOW wire to the BLACK wire THAT GOES TO THE LIGHT.
other other end of the black wire is just a ground that goes into the car. you can tape that and let it be.
connect a wire from the yellow wire that you JUST connected to the ground and connect that to the bottom GREEN AND WHITE wire on the MAIN turn signl. (it should be a green and white wire, but if not its the 2 colored wire. NOT brown or black one.

tape up all the wires nice and neat and put you truck back together.

I reccomend to check it before putting it back together.
And check the light that you bought before putting them on the mirror. To check, just put the yellow wire to the possitive of battery and white to negative.

hope you have fun and if you have ANY guestions, let me no.
