looks good man! imo, it probably would have turned out a bit better if you had sanded the painted pieces smooth, instead of leaving the texture on em.

zabeard 06-07-2006 05:48 PM

looks good evan. put clear on it

Goodluck finding Amazon Green in a rattle can....I just had to touch my 'Zon Green rig and ended up having to take Dodge Green Metallic and Ford Deep Jade Metallic and doing som mix 'n match untill i got it close enough. about 2 parts deep jade to one part dodge green is close.

ScottG 06-07-2006 06:00 PM

everytime i used clear coat on the silver ones, it dulled them, so unless you no if a good clear, ill prob leave them like this and just end up re-painting them every year.

01xltranger4x4 06-08-2006 09:47 AM

Looks good erv, alot better than the chrome paint.

rangererv 06-08-2006 11:51 AM

^^ ya i agree

ericg 06-08-2006 11:55 AM

I've ALWAYS used clear whenever I painted anything. It shouldn't dull if anything it would give it more of a gloss and a deeper looking paint. Always made my pieces look a LOT better.
