replacing instrument needles

anyone else have problems doing this ? i believe my tach is a little off and my speedo off at least 10 mph ( according to gps anyways) my speedo even before i removed the needles don't think was 100% accurate, is there a fool proof way of fixing this short of getting another cluster?

With your gps you can fix the speedometer. Just hit 55 on the gps, hit cruise control, pull the needle and put it on 55.

As far as the rpm's, I don't know.

i think i got the speedo fixed, maybe off 1-2 mph if that, but even before i pulled them weren't 100% accurate either.. know just gotta put the temp, battery and vertify the tach- ( maybe wait to check that against my friend' s timing light)
