Seat Change 97 Ranger Ext Cab

I know this has been asked several times but I cannot find the thread that answered my question again. But what seats could I swap to put in my 1997 Ford Ranger Ext cab, or where could I find the foam to redo my current seats?

Thanks in advance for all your help

6 days sitting here without a reply, funny !

I don't know for sure if the '97 takes the same seats as the next Generation up of Rangers. I'm thinking, start by measuring your seat mounting position, first the actual dimension of the four holes, references to themselves. Then go to a JY and pull some Explorer Seats, see if the bolt pattern is the same.
Remember, the Explorer Seats are a little larger, so make sure you can return them if they don't fit as you want. I attempted to bolt in a set in my Standard Cab EDGE, NOT is the only word that fits... but an Extended Cab should be good, if any are.

Ford didn't sell the Foam needed to replace their Bucket Seats Foam a few years back when I tried to get the OEM Foam to upgrade my seats; so that's out !

What I would do is go to a local Seat Guy, either Auto or even a good Upholsterer, worth a shot; I would even ask about better foam to make the seats a little more solid AND reenforcement for the Outside Bolsters in the bottom of the seats, they take a beaten getting in and out.
