Seat patch?

I have the red/black buckets and notice the seat belt rests on the left side and wears into the fabric, do they make a heavy duty patch that kind of matches? Id like to reinforce it before it rubs through, Maybe sticks on or irons on?

I Would go to your local fabric shop and pick up a patch that can stick/ iron on like you said. Never seen a company selling patches for that specific reason

take it to an upholstery shop. they can get most oem materials, and can probably come up with a fix for it.

i personally haven't ever seen anyone have a problem like that, nor ask for a patch for something like that.

that's a common wear area. it's probably more from when you sit in the seat. the foam starts to break down, then the cloth gets pressed against the frame, or plastic, etc. and it starts to wear the material. if you are lifted in any way, it doesn't help either, as you probably slide in and out of your truck.

Im about to put my lift on lol so its going to get worse, id rather just put a canvas patch or something over it, because its only going to get worse with lift like you said, ill go by a fabric store and see what they have, id rather not get that section fixed only for it to happen again.

eventually though, it will wear the foam down to nothing as well. there are ways to help prevent that from happening as well.

there is a carpet padding we put on the bottom of the foam after it's been fixed. it is thick and doesn't tear easy. really helps the foam from cutting on the metal frame.

You can get a patch from a fabric or craft store, but it won't be pretty. If you want it done right take it to an upholstery shop.
