The FX4 shift lever is a Ford part, not aftermarket.
Most of the specialty FX4 parts have been discontinued. You could have your Ford dealer do a dealer inventory search but I suspect you'll end up getting one at a junkyard or on the Ranger boards. Even if you could find the parts new, the prices are unbelievable.
Transmission Chrome Shift Lever:
1L5Z-7210-BC superseded by part number 6L5Z-7210-BA.
USD$300
Transmission Shift Ball:
1L5Z-7213-AA
USD$120

Lol I'm not selling it. I was telling you how I got mine HAHA. Sorry.
Anyway I compared my stock shift with the FX4 shifter and they are relatively close in height. The main difference is the top of the arm bends in toward you so it's more comfortable to shift.
Personally I would look into a Hurst or wait to get one used on here. Not too long ago a guy had his brand new whole hurst set up (boot, ball, and arm) for sale for $200.
