Plug and play. IIRC your temp gauge is going to read hot when you are warmed up. I have no clue if someone found a way to correct it.

Plug and play.

You may need to repin any cluster from 98 up.

It will just mean the idiot lights wont work right.

Not a problem. The tach will work, I promise that. The signal is already there. Its just the temp gauge that might give you a lil problems.

I know this is an older thread but it came up ion a search so I will ask here too.

Since what is being said is that the 95-03 Gauge Clusters are the same, will a cluster without a tach from which ever year plug and play in an ’03 that had a Tach ?
I am trying to eliminate the Tach from the gauge cluster.

Thanks,

I guess I am still wondering “Will it work without any hassles” ?

This is getting good and the Tach on the Dash is looking better all the time.

Thanks,

Only time this maybe an issue is on the non black faced clusters.

Like on the white faced sport tracs. Look at the pics to see if the 4x4 lights are present. They stick out nicely against the white background.

The problem I was talking about was when you swap a white cluster into a 95. It will cause you too read hot when you are warmed up. With yours not working at all I would first make sure the truck is getting up to temp. If it is then I would try swapping cluster with someone to see if it is your cluster. If both cluster don't work then I would start looking at wires. Wich ones and where I have no clue.
