Dual Sunvisors

Hello Every One
I have a couple of questions concerning the dual sun visors out of Explorers. I purchased an OHC with the wiring harness to put in my Ranger. The guy I bought it from said it was from a 1999 Explorer.
It included the Dual Sun Visor wires in the harness for both sides. But this harness has the square plug for the visors in it. What Year did they start making them with the hot and ground wire in it? And also what year did they start making the light gray interior for the Ranger or Explorer? I bought 2 sets of Sunvisors and both are the medium gray color. After I bought the first set I found out that the guys that sell on E-bay take the pictures and the flash lightens it up to look like the light gray. The next set I bought I asked if it was the light gray like the picture shows and not the medium gray and the guy said yes only to find that when it was delivered it was still the medium gray so , can any one tell me what year they started making the dual sun visors in the light gray? or did they even make dual sun visors in the light gray.
I put a couple of pictures in this thread to help. My first time adding pics. Sorry if they are not right.

these are the charcoal grey ones.

the top one is stock, the bottom has been recovered in charcoal suede

i can't tell you what year had what color, or which style plug. but both style plugs can be made to work in a ranger.

No Problem ... I am thinking that they are from an 02+ with the square plug. I am going to try to hit the JY and see what I can find. It is supposed to warm up here a little by Friday so the weather won't be a deterrent. I am going to try to get this installed this winter with the OHC and the auto mirror. I've been looking at a lot of the how too forums but having a 2010 no one has done any of them yet. I am going to have to use some of the info. from the forums and a little figuring out on my own. if it all works I will try to do a how too for the newer Rangers. I got a wire diagram for the 2010 and am getting one for the 1999 Explorer for the wire diagrams for the OHC and auto mirror just to see how they connected. But there are some excellent how too forums on this.

02+ explorers are different. i've pulled mine out of 95-01 and have had both styles. in the mustangs, 94-95(6) had a single wire, then 96-04 had double. so i would assume something like that. may be 95-97 single and 98-01 double for the explorer.

Hey Taylor ... If you got a set of the dual light gray with the square plug I am interested in them. Even if they are round plug I am sure I can make them work. I can't find any at my local JY here. I would have to do some traveling out of the area. Can you take a picture of them? I need the clips and all ... Thanks John

John, they are light gray, but I dont have the plugs. I only left about 2 inches of wire after the sun-visor.

I dont knwo where the plugs are or where they plug in at. Any details would help because I might be going back to a JY later this week.

EDIT: I have a pair just like Troy posted above, and these have only one wire.
