White explorer cluster swap
I found an 2001 explorer with the white faced cluster.. I have searched and seen that it s a direct swap for my 03 Ranger... question I have is this... is the explorer oil pressure the same as the ranger..is it still the 6 psi switch? or does it have the correct sweeping guage and all i need to do is add the correct sending unit?

Just be sure to check, and double check all the bulbs for proper operation! I too went the route of the "preppy" Explorer white gauge cluster....first night I drove it, the left side of the tach was dark. So, out came that cluster again. Changed all the bulbs this go around!
Also to anyone doing this swap: make sure that if you have a 4x4, to get an Explorer with the 4x4 cluster as well! I almost jumped on a cheap Explorer cluster, but before I hit the "pay now" tab, I double checked, and saw that it was not a 4x4 cluster.
Today, I have the original black faced cluster back in, but used the silvery lense "suround" from the Explorers cluster. This to me looks better then the silvery gauges of the explorer.
