Sport Trac cluster question
Sport Trac cluster question
Just curious with the Sport Trac clusters, since they are all automatics and my truck is a stick, what happens with the PRND12 bit in the cluster when it gets installed into a manual truck??
THe "PRND12" should be attached to the truck that it came out of. If it does come with the cluster all you have to do is pinch a few tabs and it comes right out.
On your old cluster there should be a black plastic strip that fits into that slot where the "PRND12" sits. Just swap that over to the expo cluster and you are golden.

ohhhh yessss....espicially if it's shinin' with blue leds....
do it! blahhh....mikey...just get a U.S. one...there's KM's on there. And i'm positive they are WAYYY more plentiful.
Just like what Jake said, clip out the auto indicator, clip in the manuals 'filler' piece.

Check eBay, or better yet, give these guys a shout. http://tacomaspeedometer.com
I got my Sport Trac cluster from these guys. Cheap and pretty much brand new.
They used to be based out of Oregon.....seems they are in Washington now. They used to buy vehicles from Canada and then sell them in the US. They took all the "km" leading speedos out and replaced them with the "mph" leaders.

Since December 15. Got layed off with 30 others where I worked and now that plant is closing for good in a few months. And that's the plant that builds the seats for the Civic coupe and Acura MDX. 240 more people about to be out of work when it closes.
