Suede interior opinions

I'm going to have my visors and headliner redone in suede sometime and I'd like some advice.

I'm trying to decide on a color, This is the suede headliner Korey used to redo his.

Suede Headliner (Foam Backed)

I want my visors done is suede also, here's where I can order it

UNISUEDE - Automotive Suede

My question is on color. Do you guys think I should do black or charcoal?

I can't decide what would look better, the charcoal would look more stock. But I think the contrast of the black would look good too.

Any opinions?

if you want to see the black against the charcoal, let me know. i have a couple yards out in the shop yet.

oh, and i would stay away from the unisuede for a headliner. you want something with the foam backing so your glue doesn't bleed through. if you have an air compressor, i highly recommend getting the weldwood contact cement from yourautotrim. it's the same stuff i use on a daily basis. oh, and which visors are you covering? the ranger ones have to be sewn, and the explorer ones tuck in.

here is a set of stock ranger ones in did in black suede for RCS on RPS:

It will be the stock visors that I'm recovering. So, where should I get the suede?

I would like to see the comparison of the black and charcoal. Do you have any pics of these in a truck?

i haven't gotten mine installed yet. waiting to do the headliner, which is waiting for paint.... might be a while. i'll try to get a black/charcoal comparison tonight.

i buy from yourautotrim all the time, and i would recommend them.

stock dk grey plastic (fuse cover), the panel to the right has been covered in dk grey vinyl, the data port plug is stock light grey, the visor is the charcoal suede, and then there is the black suede to the left.

the camera makes the charcoal look a lot lighter than it is.
