Swapping Cluster 2004 Ranger

So I want to go to the White Faced cluster. Ive found a lot of used ones. My question is in 2004 is that one of the years that the miles dont transfer over. So by the I mean I have 93,XXX on my truck and if I buy one with 67,XXX will it read my milage or the new cluster?

from my experience the miles come with the guages...so whatever the guages say is what will display, not what was on the truck.

I'm not sure about the newer ones either, from what I've seen and read the mileage is stored in the cluster. My 02 still has analog mileage so its def in the cluster LOL
