or you can just take a saw to your 60/40 and make it a 40/40 which is in my near future

You probally could, but why not just save a butt load of money and cut the seat yourself and by the console? I cut my seat to put my Explorer console in. Ford wanted an absurd amoount of money for a new driver seat.

Yeah, I'd say just cut em or buy some used seats from a junkyard. I was hoping to get some stang seats, but they couldn't get them out of the Stang on a count of all the rust had welded them to the rest of the car. So I settled with buckets from a 91 Escort. Then just find a center console that works, like the Explorer.

yeah im pretty sure it would bolt right up. on my 91 ranger i had a 40/60 and got a set of bucket seats out of a 92 explorer. i kept the rangers drive seat (40) and removed the middle and passenger peice (60). than i just took the mounting brackets off the passenger side seat and put them on the explorer seat bc the explorer brackets and rangers brackets were different.
