Window cranks rattle

Window cranks rattle
When i listen to the music at a relativly high volume or theres a lot of bass in the music, my window crank handles rattle like crazy. I've made sure they're screwed on tight and everything. Has anyone had this problem and/or fixed it? I've thought about putting foam around the cranks to cushion them so they cant rattle but just haven't had the time.

Mine do that too. The pieces that rattle are the actucal round handle part. The way they are attached is so that they can rotate in your hand when you roll your windows up and down. I guess you could also just try to put another screw in that part or use some gorrilla glue or some kind of adhesive that would keep the **** from moving thus eliminating the rattle.

yah thats fine if you have an extended cab to put a 12" sub. I have a 12 sitting behind my passenger seat but the box is so small theres not that much bass :(

mine did this too, but i did this to solve the problem. Take the handle back off and use the small black washer to trace that onto a piece of black felt, cut it out and put it between the door and the black washer. then reinstall and problem resolved, because the rattle is actually between the door panel and the black washer.
