So the new **** has a smaller hole !
What if you take a piece of steel rod about 1” OD drill the hole for the OEM Ranger Shift and machine the other end o fit the New ****.
I know a lot of work but who knows maybe there is an adapter.
OK another thought… This is stretching it, I know but it is possible.
Find a used Hurst Shifter, cut the OEM Shifter about 2” from the base, weld on a piece of Flat stock, sized so the Hurst Shift Handle Position fits your truck/seat/you, and drill a couple of holes and you have a Hurst Shifter with a ⅜” threaded end. Just watch how much steel you add so that it will all fit under what ever Shift Boot you use.
