what seats will fit my 04?

Tonight i put a very nice tear in my driverside seat... normally THAT would cause me to burn the tool that did the damage, however its like I dont even care, but it still bothers me...

what years, rangers and explorers, will fit into my 04 2 door?

You have the 2 door extended cab correct? If I remember correctly the regular cab and extended cab seat tracks are different, not the 2 door extended cab and 4 door ones.

any 98+ Xcab seat will bolt into your truck. 95-01 explorer, up to 05 Sport and Sport trac will too.

What spacer are you talking about, Downey?

If you use expo seats, you need to drill out the mounting holes... I've had to on 3 sets of seats now all coming from 95-01 Expo's.

Maybe you have to use spacers in your truck cuz of all the rust. Idk.

There is no reason a truck should be running spacers for the seats? Unless they were trying to lift the seat up but my Expo power seats go pretty high as it is so that sounds kinda dumb.

And X2 Tre

hmmm....Tre's didn't need spacers. Mine didn't need spacers when I had expos. Billy's didn't need spacers for his. I think this comes down to not drilling out the holes. Our electrical stuff clears pretty good under/beside the seat tracks...

And these are 98, 01, 01 trucks.

And now you can go look what I posted in that thread you linked, Downey.

I was just taking a stab at why anyone would run a spacer on a seat to begin with... Rust could factor into that equation.

Like I said earlier... I've installed 3 sets of seats in my trucks over the past 4 years... And not one time have I EVER used spacers. I took the intelligent approach and actually thought of a solution to the holes not lining up... And so far, I think it's worked.

Quick grammar lesson Cam...

There = used with location

Their = used with possession.

They're = contraction for "they are."

/end hack
