Don't know if i've posted shots of this before....but here's my 29LTD BC(black chrome) radio....

Failed to install Explorer OHC = excellent place to mount big cb. lol. Used 1" nylon spacers and I believe #12 x 1.5" maybe 1.25" self tappers. Believe I added two extra screws as well. Ran the wiring and coax though the A pillar, above the headliner, and down the hole. You can hear is awesome. I usually drive with the mic cord hanging as it's definately not in my way. But...occasionally just flip it up behind the radio out of the way. Will soon be modding little brackets to hold the mic cord up behind the radio, rather than just kinda 'hangin' out.

Downside: black chrome case...when the sun hits it just right....shines right in your face. I 'downgraded' to the stock regular black plastic case.

Yea....umm.....i do have that little issue. Except it always tends to fly and hit ME in the face. lol. I plan on resolving that issue with one of those zip line/retract cord things to keep the mic from hitting people. Otherwise, i completely remove the mic and throw it in the center console.

I'm actually thinking about one of those....or modding the explorer ohc into the shifter bezel/cupholder thingy. idk.
